This article ran in the July 2013 issue of the Purple Circle magazine.  The Purple Circle magazine has been “The Show Magazine” for many years.  Each year they feature a show pig breeder as well as breeders for show lambs, show goats and show cattle. This article was written shortly after we bred the Grand Champion Barrow at the San Antonio livestock show.  It was also after his sire, War Turkey, had his second Grand Champion at a Major show that year.   We were overwhelmed when this prestigious livestock show magazine called wanting to interview us.  This article will give you a bit more insight into how we got started, our farm, and program.
